Prep School

Prep School provides beginner youth climbers with a fun and exciting introduction to the vertical world. Over the course of 4 weeks, participants will learn the fundamentals of climbing, including technique, problem solving skills, basic knot tying, climbing commands and safety checks. For students 8 years of age or over, they are taught how to belay — managing the rope to keep their climber safe. After completing this course, students are eligible to join a Recreational Team at Whetstone.

Jr Prep School provides beginner youth climbers with a fun and exciting introduction to the world of climbing.
